I still say it was very good for me, but now that school is back in session I never got to see my son. Y’all lost because I lasted four whole months this time! All jokes aside, it wasn’t all bad and I actually liked it on some level. All those who know me probably had their money on one month. Long time no blog! I’m hoping to get things back to how they were now that I’ve left my job. Swatches: Ocean Ave, Soda Pop, Vitamin Sea I ended up moving Give It To Me Straight to my most reached for items drawer. I really need to stop buying palettes, but this time I’m glad that I caved. You can see a few looks I created with the Give It To Me Straight Pressed Powder Shadow Palette below. I love wearing burgundy, mauve, and copper shades. I also think this palette is perfect for Fall. TMI and Actually were a little tricky to work with, but not impossible. I absolutely love this palette! It’s nicely pigmented. You can easily create so many looks with this palette without having to reach for another palette. It also includes a really nice brow bone shade. I like a few different finishes to be included in palettes, but I personally prefer there to be more mattes than anything. I’m digging that it contains more mattes than metallics.

It’s full of warm coppers and beautiful mauves. Give It To Me Straight contains 12 eyeshadows which includes 7 mattes and 5 metallics. That and this palette has my name all over it! I saw swatches for the ColourPop Give It To Me Straight Pressed Powder Shadow Palette in a Facebook group and decided I needed it in my life. I know I said I wasn’t going to buy any Fall-type palettes because I already have so many similar shades, but… I lied. Swatches: Forthright, Downright, Truth Hurts, Be Blunt, TMI, Actually Have you purchased anything from the ColourPop X iluvsarahii Collection? I’m betting if you did you blogged it last year along with the rest of the beauty community. The packaging is really pretty and the products are great! I don’t really know much about iluvsarahii, but this collection is a winner in my book. I really love their Ultra Metallic Lip and Coquette is a perfect example of why.

It’s a very bold lipstick and the metallic makes it stand out that much more. It applied beautifully and made for a comfortable wear. This shade is gorgeous and perfect for Fall and the upcoming holiday season. The Ultra Metallic Lip in Coquette is a rich merlot. On the days I don’t feel like fussing over what lipstick to wear I reach for Atole. It’s very easy to touch up though so I don’t mind the short wear time. It’s not the most lasting, but I don’t know of many glosses that are. This was my first ever Ultra Glossy Lip and I love it! It’s not sticky and feels very comfortable.

The Ultra Glossy Lip in Atole is a metallic gold with a pink shift. Anyway, here’s the rest of the ColourPop X iluvsarahii Collection (the items I purchased anyway). I probably should have blogged them all together, but back then I made things extremely difficult for myself and felt the need to blog each item from collections separately. Most likely around the same time I ordered the Pressed Powder Shadow Palette in $aucey. I believe I purchased these 2 sometime last year. Now for the piece I title “Stuff I purchased forever ago and never blogged.’ On the bright side it’s still available on the ColourPop website.
